1950 – Xiong Zhichun was born in Beijing.

1962 – Began to learn Chinese painting and was tutored by  his mother Qi Liangzhi and his uncle Qi Liangmo.

From 90' – Selected works were exhibited in galleries in Shanghai.

1991 – Was invited (by Mr. Pertti Helminen, member of Finnish-Chinese Friendship Association) to hold an art exhibition in Helsinki Finland.

And same year in December he attended a workshop, to give a lecture of Chinese painting at the Helsinki Museum of Applied Arts.

1993 – In August ,was invited to have an art exhibition in Helsinki Finland.

1994 – In December, he had an art exhibition at the Critical Academy Education Institute in Helsinki Finland.

1994-1995 –  Studied in Watercolor Painting Department at the Talinn Art University Estonia.

 

1995 - Zhichun  and his wife Wu Jingliang had an exhibition of Chinese calligraphy and painting  at the Wayne Art Centre of Wooster, Ohio (United States).

Same year  both of them again had an art exhibition at the Hudson Museum at The University of Maine in the United States.

1995 – Was invited to attend Asia Culture Festival in Tallinn Estonia to introduce Chinese art, also  paint on the scene.

1995 – Moved to Helsinki Finland.

2000 – In October, Chinese Artist Association and Oil-painting Society visited Finland. Zhichun was invited to the opening ceremony to introduce  Chinese art ,ancient poem and also to paint Chinese Xieyi painting on the scene.

2007 – In April, he with wife were invited by the Finnish Medical Association to attend the Cultural Week to have a workshop of Chinese art in Helsinki .

2007 – present , Zhichun with wife have been teaching Chinese painting and calligraphy at Caisa International Culture Centre in Helsinki Finland.

2008 – In July, Zhichun with wife held Chinese painting and calligraphy exhibition at Kaapeli Art Centre Helsinki.

2009 – In May, he with wife  were invited to hold a workshop of Chinese art during the cultural week of Tampere in Finland.

2011 – In January, during the Chinese Culture Week of Helsinki, Zhichun, Jingliang with a group of students had an art exhibition in lasipalatsi Helsinki.

2012 – In September, Zhichun with  wife were invited by Finnish Academy of Fine Arts  to held an art workshop of chinese painting and calligraphy.

2013 – In February,  Zhichun, Jingliang with a group of students had third Chinese art exhibition at Kaapeli Art Centre Helsinki.

2013– In April,and in September  Zhichun with wife  were invited by Finnish Academy of Fine Arts to held intermediate art workshop of chinese painting and calligraphy.

 

2014- in August 30th made a speech of Qi baishi's art at Shanghai City Libeary.

 

2014 - in September 3th - 9th hold an art exhibition at Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy China.

 

2014-in September , an art work "  Logivity " was selected to Global Chinese Painting & Calligraphy Exhibiton Beijing.

 

2014- in October ,zhichun with wife were invited by Finnish Academy of Fine Arts to hold a workshop of chinese painting and calligraphy.

 

2015- in May 22th, two art works were selected to Asia International Art Exhibition in Tokyo Japan.

 

2015-  July 29th - August 4th hold an art exhibition in Japan China Friendship Center in Tokyo Japan.

 

2015 - October 8th - 18th hold an art exhibition in Yan Gallery in Hong Kong.
